The Eysheus Saga

Eysheus (Eye-she-us): an individual with the ability to enter and manipulate storybooks at will. That is what the story is about. No one knows why the sky is black, or why storybook characters had began showing up in the real world. Reitrin, the "heroin," lives with her alcoholic father in a lonely apartment in a big town. When fate drags her into the madness of stories and reality she finds herself facing too many fears. She meets Etakai, a character plucked from his story and abandoned in the real world. He is just as lost as Reitrin, but not willing to believe he can't fix what's been ruined. Desperate to get home, Etakai tries to find out how he can return to his story. All the while Reitrin wishes to avoid him, and the odd restaurant owner Kaffie, but sadly the three run into each other once again, and are plunged, unexpectedly, into the story Blood River. There they meet Aoiro, the Eysheus. His appearance brings even more questions and causes greater problems.
So they are all tied together by questions. Why was Etakai dragged out of his story? What is really going on in the world of stories? The Eysheus Saga takes many unexpected turns as the trio attempt to find answers to the questions that keep appearing.
